Michael accepts briefs in all areas of commercial and public law.
Before being called to the Bar, Michael was an associate in the dispute resolution team at MinterEllison. His practice as a solicitor extended to matters involving general commercial litigation, energy and resources, banking and insolvency, and competition.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, where he was awarded the University Medal in Law and graduated as valedictorian. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford.
Michael previously served as Associate to the Honourable Justice Applegarth AM of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
