Overview

Dan was called to the Bar in October 2025, after a thirteen-year career as a solicitor.

Prior to the Bar, Dan was a Senior Associate in the Disputes team at Ashurst.  He practised in large Court proceedings with a focus on construction, infrastructure and projects disputes, and in domestic and international arbitration.

While at Ashurst, he gained in-house experience through a long-term secondment in the global Litigation team for a multinational mining company.

Prior to Ashurst, Dan worked at McCullough Robertson, gaining experience across a range of disputes work.

Before his career as a solicitor, Dan worked for two years in corporate and personal insolvency at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
